Item descriYour trip begins with a quick safety briefing at the dock/boat. Herman will walk you through the plan for the day and share Dene protocols for travelling on the water. From Yellowknife, we often depart through Yellowknife Bay with views of the houseboats, then travel past Dettah and along the nearby islands and shoreline south of Yellowknife. Herman will check in about your preferences—more time travelling, fishing, and/or time exploring on land (as conditions allow).ption

Guests who plan to fish must purchase a valid Northwest Territories fishing license (territorial) before the trip. If your trip takes you into Thaidene Nëné National Park Reserve, you’ll need an additional federal fishing license.
