As a skilled harvester and land-traveller, Herman provides guidance on safe routes, ice conditions, weather, and navigation, along with opportunities for animal viewing and learning about the cultural and historical significance of the places you pass through — where Dene people have lived and travelled since time immemorial.

Requirements for Guests:

• Must supply their own snowmobiles, gear, fuel, and food

• Prior experience traveling by snowmobile in winter conditions

• Ability to self-evacuate in the event of an emergency

• Respect for Dene laws, land, and protocols
